This Is A Scary Ride

PLEASE NOTE:  THIS NEW THEME HAS THE COMMENT LINK AT THE TOP OF THE POST. SEE UP THERE, THE LITTLE COMMENT BUBBLE?  OK, GOOD. 🙂

I had to work today and just finished up at 7:30. It’s time to wander thru my head.

I’m playing with new WordPress themes.  The only problem with this is there are widgets.

If I change a theme, I often sometimes can’t find where those widgets have gone, so I can’t make changes to them.  Then they’re old widgets and they annoy me.

There’s no widget like an old widget.

I’ve updated my “Books and Such” page.  I’ll bet no one ever looks at that one, right?  I barely remember to look at it, so I understand.

I want to learn how to make my own blog in WordPress.org so I can widget my day away, in bloggy bliss, happily doing blogrolls and such.

Is that so much to ask?

Also, FaceBook keeps logging me out and it’s annoying.  There’s a mass exodus on the 31st and I’m really tempted to run.  SCRABBLE and Bejeweled with friends keeps me hooked.

Just in case you think I’ve fallen off the face of the Earth, look to the right and you’ll see me Tweeting away.  If you jump on the Twitter bandwagon – Is there a real bandwagon? Is there room for a whole band? – you’ll see why I enjoy it.

There.  I’ve gotten that off my chest and now I can go and have my salad and do some knitting.

I do love having a good babble.

  1. I tried Twitter but I couldn’t work the tweets into Dennis’s stories, so now I just funnel Dennis’s RSS feed into it. There are only so many hours in the day! 😉

  2. Nice new look!! I am very computer un-literate. It’s like a car: I know theoretically how it works, but that’s about it.
    Happy knitting and salad!!

  3. Like the new look! After finally giving in and getting a Facebook account I promised myself I would not sign up on Twitter. My family would never see me again.

  4. I have been totally engrossed with my new iPod, why is veryone leaving facebook?

I can only do one social network at a time. Makes my head spin. Thats why I am not on twitter. But sell me, why is it good?

  5. FB has lost most of its appeal, FF is dying and Twitter and I never had a conversation. I guess I’ll just have to stick to blogging.

  6. It looks really lovely. There is so much to play with here, even I’m still learning. If ever you need help with something, you’ve got my number. 🙂
