Community Garden

At least that’s what this little guy figured, as he chomped away on my fennel.

Black Swallowtail To-Be

########################

Last week I mailed out my Pay-It-Forward packages – only 2 months late.  I was so determined to get them in the mail that I forgot to take pictures.  Doh!  So three Birthday Cowls later, I can breathe a small sigh of relief.  I enjoyed working on them and hope that I can “steal” a picture or two, if they’re posted. (Hint. Hint.)

I’ll be heading to my Dad’s, this weekend, and will bring my current WIP, the Swallowtail Shawl, along with.  I’ve only got 8 more rows to go so there could be hope for another FO.  As long as it’s taking me to knit this, it will probably take twice as long to get it blocked.  Perhaps a surge of energy will blast my butt and I’ll have it finished by the end of September.

A girl can dream.

  1. I’ve got 10 of these on my parsley plant. 10! I hear they turn into the most lovely butterflies so I let them be. If they start in on my basil though…I am not making any promises.
