Hope Garden

Hey!  Did I tell you I planted my veggie garden?

Yup.  On the 4th of July I finally got the babies in the ground.

I’m calling it the Hope Garden for my Mom and because, let’s face it, it needs a lot of hope for anything to actually set fruit, at this late date.

The biggest thing we have are 2 beds filled with volunteer tomato plants.

Volunteers, please take 2 steps forward.

Tomorrow, for Wordless Wednesday, I’ll show the rest of the beds as they were on 7/4.

Yesterday and today I feel so tired I can hardly keep my head up.  I tweeted that I felt like my head was stuffed with Malabrigo Worsted or Chunky.  And not in a good way.  My limbs feel about the same.

Mama said there’d be days like this.

But now I feel like buying Malabrigo, too.

  1. I feel exhausted, too. Don’t know why. I got home from my morning appointments and sat in my car reading a little in my book. Next thing I knew it was 2.5 hours later! Fell asleep right there sitting in my car in the driveway! Like my mother says — I must have needed it!
