Plans

Had lunch with a friend I haven’t seen in 3 years.  Then did a bit of shopping. So I know what I’ve got planned for the rest of the week.

Stephanie Plum book #13 and Zephyr in Indigo (flash makes it lighter. yada, yada, yada).  Time to do a swatch for MS3.  Yeah, it’s a lot of yarn but don’t anyone get their hopes up.  You know who you are.  And Stephanie will have to wait a few days for me to finish reading Short Straw.

These babies didn’t have a chance of being left in the store.

It’s time to start making iced lattes at home and the (Tom’s words for them) "insulated travel mugs" are perfect.  They come with their own straws and don’t sweat when you toss in ice cubes.

I also got the new Knit Today magazine.  I really like the cover sweater…longer even thought my stomach looks like that in my dreams, of course…so will put it on my Have-To-Knit list.  Maybe I can use my Debbie Bliss Wool/Cotton.

  1. Hey, when did #13 come out?? How did my online knitting corgi owners mystery book club miss this one?

  2. That sweater is nice, but you’re right, it needs to be longer. I don’t even think those cropped sweater are even in style anymore! I could be wrong though, I’m not a big fashion person.

  3. Thanks for the heads up on Evanovich! Her stuff is hilarious.

What is sad about that sweater is that so few people (relatively speaking) can get away with baring their bellies like that. It is lovely though … you may have something with making it longer.

  4. Very cute sweater – but a bit longer would probably be better. I mean, if its cool enough to wear long sleeves would you want your stomach uncovered?

  5. The sweater is pretty, just needs that length. Does anybody look good in a cropped sweater?

I’ll have to check out those books.

  6. oh it’s out?!?! *runs to Audible.com*

Oh yeah and my stomach last looked like that when I was like twelve. gah
