I. Can’t. Stop. Watching. Heroes.

I. Can’t. Stop. Watching. Heroes.

I saw 5 minutes of this show and thought "Huh, not what I imagined it was going to be."  So I did a search.  You can BUY the first 11 episodes on iTunes….OR….you can watch them for FREE on nbc.com.

Guess which option I chose?

I watched all 11 episodes, in 4 days.  GREAT SHOW.  Check it out.  Now I have to wait another week for them to start up again.

Knitting meetings.  What a great way to spend an icky, rainy day.  10 women laughing, eating and knitting while Panera customers stared at us like we were zoo animals.  (Seriously, you pick ONE little bug off of a friend…)

I was working on my Marilyn’s Not-So-Shrunken Cardigan.

It’s a beautiful shade of dark gray, Rowan yorkshire tweed dk. (sorry it’s blurry)  I’m almost at the "put sleeves on scrap yarn" section.

Then, when I got home, I picked up THE VEST.  6.5" done.  I only stopped because of the eye thing.  I was prompted to work on it by some of the nay-sayers at the meeting.  I’m not naming names but one day, YOU’re going to have to make one for YOUR husband. Nyah-Nyah.

Argyle_back1_1 See how I snuck in some McDreamy?

My new knitting bag – 4 pockets on the outside, TONS of room on the inside and love all over.  (Yes, it’s a Fossil.)

And, in my effort to bloat improve my stash, I helped Suzie de-stash.

New_opal It’s Opal handpainted.  Suzie put in a cute Hello Kitty card, some Scrabble tile stitch markers and Burt’s Bees hand salve.  Thanks, Suzie!

Wesley went on a little expedition in my knitting bag.  Don’t worry.  I was hiding the yarn so he scrounged up one of my Rowan ball bands.  I’m gonna kill him. Hours of good clean fun.

Seriously, check out Heroes.

  1. Well, you now have me hooked on Heroes. I’m up to episode 3 – would have watched more but you know the new palm got in the way. And poor, poor wesley – I need to buy him some kitty toys – or save my ball bands – like you might run out someday?

  2. We’ll see on the vest – I’ve heard this story before…all I have to do is dangle new yarn or a new pattern in front of you….

Good time yesterday – thanks for waiting for me to eat!

Wesley is too cute – and Chris is right – he needs some cat toys.

  3. I love Heroes!!! I’ve been watching it from the start and can’t wait for the new episodes. The yarn colors are really pretty. I bet Wes has the “Power of the paw” nothing escapes those claws! (lol)

  4. Heroes is awesome! I’ve been following it right along and am practically foaming at the mouth for it to start up again.

Your Opal is absolutely gorgeous – those colors are positively drool-worthy and Wesley is his usual ultra-appealing self 🙂

Jade likes catnip stuffed toys but don’t get the kind with the bells in them – the constant jinglejinglejingle will drive you nuts…

  5. I keep hearing about this show Heroes. First in People magazine (at the hairdressers) and then on the Globes last night. Now you! Guess I’ll have to check it out.

Did you stop working on the vest because of your eyes, or because your eyes were giving attention to something else….?? 🙂
