Tuesday Cheer

READY, BEGIN

I’ve got pink eye

yes I do

Not just one

NO!

I’ve got two!

Whoop!  Whoop!  Whoo-hoo!

I asked the Eye Doc how long the incubation period is, so I would know who to blame.  He said "You probably got it here, last week."  How nice to know that I went there for a yearly exam and came home with the door prize!

My Malabrigo Fetching’s are done.  I messed up one of the cables so one cuff is longer than the other.  But they’re M I N E!  ALL MINE!!!

I’ve got so much yarn left over that I may make a third and see if it’s a better match.  Then, of course, I’d have to make a fourth and give that pair as a gift! LOL!

Tom and I have been really busy this week.  Yesterday I worked a 12 1/2 hour day.  It seems that the Japanese company that makes the ink, that Tom sells, will no longer be selling to the U.S.

Our supplier told Tom, on Thursday last week, that he needs a final order from us by TODAY.  Nice of him to give us time to reach our 1,000+ customers and get orders from them.  The phone has been ringing non-stop.  At 10:30 last night, I finally shut off my computer and went to bed.

Some of our customers don’t understand that we’re not a big company and can’t afford to order enough supplies to get thru the next year.

Not sure what this means for home business.  Hopefully it will continue until Tom can find an alternative method for printing decals.

So we scramble.  It’s the American Way.

Even Wesley was exhausted by the end of the day.  Good thing he has his cashmere sweater.

  1. Sorry about the pink eye – but very nice of the Dr. to give you something for free! Love the gloves…are they for the grab bag? Too cute picture of Wes!

  2. The least that doc could do was to give you ‘free’ samples of the med(s) needed to clear your eyes by Saturday’s get-together! Lovely (as usual!) work on your fetching gloves 🙂

  3. Pink eye and crap with the supplier…bummer. Hopefully your pink eye(s) go away soon and that Tom finds a new supplier too!
