So…I didn’t get to Rhinebeck. (2nd year in a row)

Saturday morning sky.  Before Tom headed to work, we went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast.  Then my weekend was blah stuff.

I’m going to turn this post over to Wes.  He had a BUSY time.

I opened the door to the craft room (with just a push, can you imagine?!?) and jumped onto the yarn cubes.  Then I found my favorite pot of yarn.

All was well, until I got nabbed by my Mom.

I gave her "Cute Look 48*" and she went back to doing the wash.

Then I got down to some serious business.

I mean, that desk wasn’t going to build itself.

I had to figure out which one of these short, pointy things to use.  Good think IKEA instructions ROCK!

A few hours later, I was done.

Mom was happy that I was so helpful.  But it turns out she wasn’t JUST doing wash.  She had bought some yarn from Zen Yarn Garden’s Etsy shop and when it got here, she couldn’t stop touching it.

I think it’s really soft and I’ll report back if I can get my paws on it.**

Dad came home and was really tired.

He fell asleep while Mom was showing him the desk, so she got a little revenge for not being able to go to Rhinebeck.

She calls this picture "Stuff On My Husband".

She’s tried this trick on me, but I don’t let her get away with it.  Dad just kept on sleeping.  I don’t know how he did it because Mom was doing this evil laugh as she was taking the pictures. (There were more but this is the best one.)

It was a long weekend and I really needed my beauty sleep.

I hope everyone had a great weekend.

*Hiya Binky!!

Cute look 48 is totally irresistable. It says “Who me?”

Cracked up at stuff on my husband. I should try that once. Could have happened yesterday when I was trying to get some work done and he is dozing on the couch.

    Love the desk!
