You’re Bettie Page!
I read a blog that complains about bloggers that “ask” for comments. This bothers me. Some people blog in a “just the facts, ma’am” style. Others let it all hang out.
I, sometimes, blog in a conversational type of tone. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that but it’s just how I’m feeling that day. If I seem to be “begging for comments” then it’s too bad! I can do what I want, how I want. That’s the POINT of blogging.
Just because I type something like “Don’t you hate when people put others down because of their own insecurities?”, it doesn’t mean I NEED a response. But I’m not going to squash you if you answer me.
Know what I don’t like? (you may answer at will) I don’t like blogger superiority. So there.
That being said, here’s the not-so-fun stuff happening.
Tomorrow I’m going to the eye doctor so he can put in punctal plugs. They’re to stop my eyes from draining too quickly.
I’ve been doing the eye drops route and moved to the eye glop. That makes me look like I’ve got vaseline smooshed around my eye. I don’t know who came up with this stuff. I’m hoping my eyes will look very hydrated after all of this vaseline therapy.
Thursday I have an appointment with an oral surgeon.
I’ve had very bad TMJ for a little over a year and, as of Sunday afternoon, I can’t chew anything. Any type of pressure on the jaw and I’ve got pain. So soup, ice cream and spaghetti are my new diet.
If I lose any weight, I think I’ll publish a book!
I have gotten some knitting done, with frequent breaks so my hands don’t start to hurt, again.
It took me a few days (more like a week) to get the bottom of my “Mutant Penny” done.
I had wanted to do a hemmed look and have the black for a few inches and then have THAT hemmed. But it didn’t work.
Then I went thru “Knitting On The Edge” and decided on a double picot hem. No good.
Finally, while I was trying it on for size, I saw the rolled edges and said “DUH” that’s good for me!
So now I’m working on the sleeves. I’m going to make them 3/4 length and have the black at the end, to match the body.
And I started the Midwest Moonlight using Cherry Tree Hill supersock in Jewel color.
So, if you like what you’ve read PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS.
See? That’s how you beg for it.
