I’m not entirely happy with “Lucy”. It may be that my washer can’t felt as well as others but I’d like a tighter felt. And the straps are very wide – especially the one that holds the carrying strap.
Made with Noro Kureyon (color 124) on a size 13 circular. It took about 2 1/2 skeins.
- the bag was 15 1/2″ tall
- the strap was 11 1/2″ long
- the bag was 16″ wide
- the bag is 10″ tall
- the strap is 8″ long
- the bag is 13″ wide
I’m not sure I’ll try this bag again and may do a swap for another pattern.
This yarn, somehow, found its way to my doorstep…
I’m keeping it in the bag because if I open it, I might start to knit with it. That’s a no-no right now. And don’t anyone try to influence me otherwise! (Oh, you know who you are!) I’m sliding a bit sideways lately and am attempting to make my own stitch markers. A wonderful blog, with blow-by-blow pictures, has been a tremendous help.
The green one, above, has a rather heavy “toggle” at the top. But it’s pretty!
These three are very different. The purple one (top left) was my attempt at making my own “jump ring”. I have to work at that wrapping method. The blue/green at the top right has a very light, neat toggle as the ring. It fits on needles up to size 10.5. Since I love “pretty, sparklies” I might have a problem with these. Now I search for bead stores in my area, too.
That’s enough for today. I’ll save the rest for tomorrow…of course, you KNOW there will be more by then.
OK, just one more.
Only a man would leave something like this for a week, before heading to the doctor. Now he has to take antibiotics for another week.
I give you, an ICKY PICTURE…Tom’s Angry Bite
