Observations

Obsessive WordPress Theme Changing.

It’s a thing, right?

Also:

Polishing your nails before the laundry is out of the dryer

Starting the dishwasher and then deciding you want to shower

Buying a tray of plants and after getting them home, realizing you have 1 cup of potting soil left

I Need An Assistant

You may wonder why I still haven’t posted pix of my Stitches haul or the goings on in my garden.

Soon you’ll be able to add “Why haven’t you posted any photographs from Vegas?”.

I will say this…

Today while pre-packing,  Don’t tell me that you don’t pre-pack. If you try, I won’t believe you. I found a bag in my suitcase. It turned out to be 4 skeins of yarn. Four MORE skeins of yarn than I’d previously unpacked and stuffed into a large box.

Unless I’ve found a way for yarn to spontaneously appear, I really do need a good assistant.

If it’s a magic suitcase, I hope it works the same for slot machine winnings.

I also found a Panera, orange-iced scone, from the Stitches trip. It was still in the Panera bag and – thank heavens – I had put it into a freezer Ziploc bag. The bag was green and that’s all I’m gonna say about that.

I Know

I’m supposed to be flashing all of the stuff I bought at Stitches South.

Let’s not pretend that I went and didn’t buy because the 13 lb box of yarn that I had to ship home would beg to differ.

I took yesterday off from dishes, laundry and most everything but going out with Jane for some Sephora/Macy’s/lunch action.

Tom and I went partially out to dinner. He had worked so we left too late, I was already starving and everywhere had an hour wait. We ended up at Outback, sitting at the bar and we must have been in the “blind spot” because everyone sat down, ordered, ate and left, while we still waited for our dinner. Finally had them box it To Go, so appetizers were at the bar and dinner was at home.

All in all it was a wonderful birthday!

Bonus points to Tom, for this great card.
