Exposed

When someone has a problem, sometimes it’s necessary to bring that problem into the light.

By exposing the dirty side, one can finally start to get clean.

With that, I show you my recent yarn purchases (not including Stitches).

A multi-colored weaver’s cotton, 2 cones of Wildfoote and some nice, plastic baby yarn, along with 4 skeins of Sugar ‘n’ Cream cotton.

This is where the wheedling starts.

The cones of yarn and the baby yarn are for the sock machine.  You can’t just whack an expensive yarn on the machine and churn out socks.  Nope.  You need to use inexpensive stuff until you know what you’re doing. I’m thinking the learning curve is somewhere around 6 – 9 months.

The SnC cotton?  Welllllll.  I bought them because they were ON SALE.  Also because I vaguely remember a pattern that I saw somewhere that used this yarn.

See?  I have plans for it all!
